After you recover from the stunning scenery outside your hotel room window, enjoy a hearty breakfast and prepare for a day as full or as relaxed as you wish! The Hermitage Hotel is a truly majestic property offering more to do than any other hotel in New Zealand.
You can take an optional helicopter or fixed wing aircraft flight over stunning mountain scenery to the awe-inspiring Tasman Glacier. These flights must be pre-booked (own cost) and are weather dependent.
Alternatively, use your included unlimited pass to the Sir Edmund Hillary Alpine Centre, including the Theatre and Planetarium – you could spend all day here! Take a grand tour of the universe and watch the 3D movie, “Mt Cook Magic” that will take you to the top of the mountain. You could also take a short mountain walk or visit the Dept of Conservation Centre, a short stroll away.
Enjoy a fantastic traditonal Christmas Buffet lunch together. Afterwards, spend the afternoon relaxing and enjoying this magical location.
