Travel the short distance to Paua World and marvel at this magnificent New Zealand sea shell being turned into beautiful, low cost jewellery, a great place to buy souvenirs.
Continue on to Martinborough, a wine village of significance, and the award winning Tirohana Estate. You are here for a traditional Devonshire Tea and whilst here you can enjoy optional wine tasting. After morning tea, re-board your coach and travel across the Rimutaka Ranges to Wellington, stopping en route for lunch at the Petone foreshore (own cost) before arriving in New Zealand’s capital city.
Arrive in Wellington for a sightseeing tour of the city including Parliament House and the Beehive. Visit Te Papa Museum, a truly amazing place and your guided tour will certainly be a highlight.
