Starting and ending in Christchurch, this magnificent 10 day tour provides so much to see and enjoy with more inclusions than you’d believe! We don’t just visit Mt Cook, we STAY there, at the base of the mountain surrounded by majestic mountains and glaciers.

Your second day includes a full day pass at the Ellerslie International Flower Show in Christchurch. You will visit the popular tourist village of Queenstown, the Scottish influenced city of Dunedin, the Otago Peninsula with an abundance of natural wonders, cruise the Milford Sound and be mesmerized by the wilderness and frozen glaciers of the West Coast. Included in the tour price is the Tranz Alpine Express, regarded as one of the great rail journeys of the world! This is a tour of fantastic value and great experiences!

	One person per double room. All tour prices are based on this base cost option. It allows you to choose when, where and what you like to eat. With this plan, breakfasts & dinners are at own cost and arrangement (except for 7 meals included meals). This will allow you to choose and pay as you go, taking each day at a time. 	2: CHRISTCHURCH / ELLERSLIE INTERNATIONAL FLOWER SHOW The Ellerslie International Flower Show is the Southern Hemisphere’s largest and most prestigious garden show and you have a full day pass to enjoy this magnificent event, being hosted in Christchurch and attracting an audience of over 80,000 visitors. ... 	3: CHRISTCHURCH / LAKE TEKAPO / AORAKI MT COOK Leaving beautiful Christchurch we cross the Canterbury Plains towards the Southern Alps and at Lake Tekapo. View the Alpine Blue Lakes and snow capped mountains before arriving at “Aoraki Mt Cook”, your mountain base for tonight. Whilst here, enjoy the amazing Sir Edmund Hillary Alpine Centre.... 	4: MT COOK / DUNEDIN Enjoy your full hot breakfast this morning before travelling through to Oamaru and its Victorian precinct and white stone buildings. We will visit the Moeraki Boulders then continue on to Dunedin, the Edinburgh of the south. A brief sightseeing tour of this city will be undertaken before receiving a Scottish welcome at your hotel. 	5: DUNEDIN / TE ANAU Visit the stunning Otago Peninsula headland with the opportunity to visit either Larnach Castle or Natures Wonders. Depart and continue through the Taieri Valley and farmlands of Southland to Te Anau and your hotel. 	6: TE ANAU / MILFORD / QUEENSTOWN Travel the famous road to Milford and board the Milford Sovereign. Cruise the very beautiful and serene Milford Sound, enjoying an international buffet lunch on board (included). Return to Milford and retrace your way back to Te Anau and continue north to Queenstown, sightseeing along the way. 	7: QUEENSTOWN Queenstown offers over 400 activity options so the only difficulty you will face today is what to choose and where to go. 	8: QUEENSTOWN / WANAKA / FOX GLACIER Travel from Queenstown to Arthurs Point and the Shotover Gorge to picture perfect Arrowtown. Continue through to Wanaka, a popular holiday destination. Carry on through the spectacular Mt Aspiring National Park and through the scenic Haast Pass to the West Coast. Arrive at Fox Glacier with some time for optional activities.... Details »

	9: FOX GLACIER / HOKITIKA / ALPINE EXPRESS / CHRISTCHURCH Visit Lake Matheson, or take an optional Glacier excursion. Afterwards, travel to Hokitika and visit the Greenstone Factory and Glass Blower. Continue on to Arthurs Pass and board the Tranz Alpine Express to take you through to Christchurch, regarded as one of the great rail journeys of the world.
